I am about to seal my heating ducts and would like to know if anyone has used Rust-Oleum LeakSeal on there ducts and what do you think of it?
What is the best sealant for heating ducts?
What is the best sealant tape to use on heating ducts? What does it cost? I brought some for $5.00 for 50 yards, is this good or cheap tape?

In my area it is code to use duct tape that is ul 181 rated. you must also use 181 rated mastic. A roll of tape and bucket of Mastic will cost a contractor around 30 dollars.

Just make sure you never use Duct Seal on Flex Duct, it won't work, and is not designed for Flex.
