I have an American Standard Freedom 95 gas furnace which was installed in November 2009. The purchase contract stated that there is a 10 year warranty on parts and labor. I am in the process of getting a problem with the draft fan taken care of. The company that sold me the furnace went out of business, and the current company tells me that there normally is no labor warranty for ten years with this furnace. I gave him the Warranty registration number printed in the papers with the contract, and no such number exists. The repairman kind of suggested the possibilty of some shady business practices by the original dealer.
Do I have any means of getting what was promised in this contract? Thanks for your advice, Bob
