Replaced dog chewed wires and now compressor won't turn *

So my dog chewed off all the insulation on the pipes, and chewed up the wires.
When I finally get around to fixing it, I find that the 2 wires connected to the unit aren't damaged after all.
My AC still worked.
But I decided to go ahead and replace the chewed up wire.
Now my compressor will not turn on.
I've tried resetting everything possible.
The compressor has 120V at the terminals, just won't turn on for some ***

No the blower did not turn on. Turns out I had blown the fuse.
After I replaced it, it still did not work last night.
This morning I noticed the board I replaced the fuse on had no power.
Turns out, after tracing the power supply wires, there was a safety switch only letting power through when the access panel was attached.
This was taped over and the tape must have stretched loose right BEFORE I found the burnt fuse.
Pressed the switch and it works!!!
