Modifying a replacement evaporator coil

I purchased a backup evaporator coil, Aspen CB36A3F145T. It was supposed to be equipped with a Flo-rator metering device like the existing coil but instead came with a non-bleed TXV which will require me to install a hard-start kit at the compressor. Instructions with the new coil describe how to replace a Flo-rator with a TXV, would I simply reverse the procedure to replace the TXV with a Flo-rator?

What makes you think you need a hard start capacitor with a TXV? I would try the TXV before condemning it. It's a much better way to regulate flow to the evaporator coil>
