AC not working, low voltage in the line

My AC stopped working last night, I tried to troubleshoot the control board in the gas furnace, but discovered that the electrical line that connects to the furnace has 2.2 volts. Voltage is 120 at the fuse and I'm not sure why there is a drop in voltage. Does anyone know what can cause *

Start at the furnace and work backwards to the circuit breaker box (fuse box). Somewhere you have a loose push connection into a receptacle box or a bad wire nut connection. If there's an on/off switch before the furnace, check that first.

Please manage a single line for A/C. Do servicing of A/C. Try to inverter A/C . Inverter A/C works on DC; it converts AC to DC and consumes less power.
